Hi! Apologies, it doesn't say on the repo but is mentioned on my blog. This software is available under Mozilla public license (but I don't want to add headers in every source file, because that just clutters stuff). That basically means you're free to do what you want with it, especially if it's to study it :) It is open source after all. Cheers.

You can display your desired license by adding a LICENSE file in the repositories root. It is then automatically picked up by GitHub and displayed next to the "Contributors" card. Here is an example with the Mozilla Public License 2.0.
