Both acf.tex have the same structure.

When I edit a319.acf.tex to

I get the following image, but the window does not update and ND and PFD is not shown.

I now had a partial success. I modified Panel_Airliner.png and now I get a output from XTextureExtractor but I do not get output in 3D cockpit anymore and also textures are missing. I opened default file with quwenview, annotated it and save it. Alpha blending was destroyed, but part where PFD and ND are, seems not modified.
Maybe it helps for debugging.

It looks like the texture size 4096x4096 doesn't match that in the A319 definition which is 2048x2048. My definition file is from 2019, so they have probably updated the aircraft since then.

So I would not edit the panel.png file, that is going to break things and I don't know what effect this might have. Lets restore that file back.

However, your new a319.acf.tex looks good, that has 4096 4096 32856 which matches the actual resolution. In your last screenshot, it looks like XTextureExtractor is working. So just restore the panel.png and I think it should work with your new .acf file.

Of course I should not change the panel.cfg file, it was only for testing. As changing it, it get an output on XTectureExtractor I thing there are some issuses in reading the file. But I did not see any changes in data format, layers, ... in changed file in the position of PFD.
With original panel.png an new acf.txt file I get:

I need to try this out locally when I get a chance. In your HSIC window above, I can see one small texture that looks like one of the gauges. It might be that Toliss is now using two textures and right now it is finding the one we don't want? (the Flight Factor A320 was doing this).

The older XTE v1 had a manual algorithm which supported buttons to search through the available matching textures when a match was not found correctly. But I managed to make this work automatically in the latest version, so removed all those buttons. Once I study this aircraft I can see if I can find out what is going on.

Btw, using 79 like this will work once, maybe the first time, but if you load another aircraft or restart the simulation, then you will find the texture id will increase since they are not reused. So it is not a long term solution to hard code in constants like 79.

I need to find some time to study the A319. I have some Toliss aircraft that were given to me by the developers to test for problems like this.

Ok, so I now have X-Plane 12 running with the Tolis A319_V1p10. The a319.acf.tex file I include with XTextureExtractor is old and does not work with it and causes nothing to show up. I deleted the a319.acf.tex file, and then restarted everything. Now XTextureExtractor has created a new default texture based on auto-detecting the panel, and it is working fine. I can see the instruments that I'm expecting, so it seems to be working fine.

My version is "TLS AIRBUS A319 V1.10" with build number 1630. I started it with the name "ToLiSs A319 Hi Def" from the flight configuration menu.

I also use build number 1630. My issue is not with a319.acf.tex file. Also after regeneration after deleting it, it does not work for me.

There must be something different on my machine, maybe graphic driver (I use nvidia) or operating system (linux) that make it behave different to your setup. You are right, is no solution to define which id to skip, it was only for testing.

Maybe I workaround could be to allow to skip first found id in the config file? I tested

and it worked for A319 on my setup. It does of course not work on other planes, so it must be configurable.

I'm testing on a Windows machine with NVIDIA GTX1080. At some point I can try this with Linux on the same GPU and see what happens. So far I've had no problem with any aircraft with the latest XTE, tested on Linux and Mac in the past as well, so we need to make sure there are no hacks or local changes being applied on your machine somehow.

Just to be safe, make sure you've rebooted your machine and tried changing between aircraft as well to see if that changes anything.

Reboot, change to another plane and back to toliss works (id will than be much higher, it is GL5061).
My change only work for toliss.

It certainly makes sense to reproduce the error on another machine.

Good news, I was able to replicate your exact problem on my Linux machine, x86-64, NVIDIA GTX1080. I deleted a319.acf.tex since the dimensions are for the older version of the A319. I get the wrong texture showing up just like in your image above.

Now to try and work out what is happening here. It is weird that this is only on Linux and not Windows.
