Hmm. Which app version are you using and what Mac model do you have? Are you using any kind of app that changes how menubar extra icons behave? Assuming you are using the latest BetterDisplay version, the should center the OSD on Tahoe 26.2 to match the system setting whenever the app menu icon is not visible. Some third party icon manager apps might interfere with this though. I am not sure why what exactly causes the app to think the menubar extra icon is visible even though it is not. |

During fullscreen playback (in my case fullscreen youtube playback in Safari), the system OSD automatically centers perpendicular to the top of the display.
However, in BetterDisplay's replica OSD, it does NOT center the same way.
Here's a visual example:

BetterDisplay's OSD (we can observe its OSD still lines up with the menu bar icon)
