Description
Hi!
I just want to tell you that I really appreciate the work you put into this project. It seems like one of the best engineered DIY stations on the internet, so thats why I'm trying to design a version that can handle the JBC C245 tips, which are 2,5 ohms in resistance and require 24volts (230W theoretical max). However for this to work the MOSFET circuit needs to be modified. I can understand the basic transistor amplification, but I would be really thankful if you could explain me how the diodes and the capacitor works (I guess overvoltage protection and noise reduction).
Thanks for the help!
