codec, of type DOMString
Contains a codec string describing the codec.

There are a variety of DOMString fields named codec described as "a codec string describing the codec" or . In some cases, the term "codec string" is not linked to the definition, making it unclear from the spec if these are wholly program internal or are instead prose descriptions that might need language/direction metadata. We'd suggest checking the document to ensure that all instances of the term are linked.
