<b>Welcome to Volcano Judge, a not-for-profit service provided by the Volcano Programming Initiative. By using this online competitive programming judge, you agree to abide by the following Terms of Use. These terms are designed to ensure a safe and productive environment for all users. Please read them carefully before using the Volcano Judge platform.</b><br><br>
<ol>
<span style="font-size: 18px"><li><b>Acceptance of Terms:</b><br>By accessing or using the Volcano Judge website or any associated applications, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the service.</li><br>
<li><b>User Eligibility:</b><br>Volcano Judge is open to all audiences, regardless of age or location. However, individuals under the age of 13 must have parental or legal guardian consent to use the service. By using Volcano Judge, you confirm that you are either above the age of 13 or have obtained consent from your parent or legal guardian. Note that the Volcano Programming Initiative's primary goal is to provide resources to allow anyone of any age to make a difference on this planet through programming.</li><br>
<li><b>Personal Account:</b><br>To access certain features of Volcano Judge, such as submission of code and entering contests, you may be required to create a personal account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password. Any activity that occurs under your account is your sole responsibility.</li>
<br><li><b>User Conduct:</b><br>
<b>a.</b> You agree to use Volcano Judge solely for its intended purposes, which include preparing for competitive programming competitions, interviews, and general programming practice through contests and programming problems.<br>
<b>b.</b> You will not use Volcano Judge for any illegal, unauthorized, or harmful activities.<br>
<b>c.</b> You will not engage in any activity that may disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of the service or its infrastructure.<br>
<b>d.</b> You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of Volcano Judge or its users' data.<br>
<b>e.</b> You will not upload, post, or transmit any content that is defamatory, harmful, abusive, obscene, or violates any applicable laws or regulations.<br>

<br><li><b>Intellectual Property:</b><br>
<b>a.</b> The Volcano Judge platform, including its content, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property, is the exclusive property of the Volcano Programming Initiative.<br>
<b>b.</b> Users retain ownership of the solutions they submit to the programming problems. However, by submitting solutions, you grant Volcano Programming Initiative a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your submissions for the purpose of improving the service, promoting Volcano Judge, or for any other related purpose.

<br><li><b>Contests and Rankings:</b><br>
<b>a.</b> Volcano Judge may host programming contests and display user rankings based on performance in these contests.<br>
<b>b.</b> Rankings are for informational and motivational purposes only and do not guarantee any external benefits or rewards.<br>
<b>c.</b> Users are not allowed to use any unfair means to boost their rankings, such as cheating, using automated scripts, or collaborating with others during contests, <i>unless otherwise indicated on the contest page</i>.<br>

<br><li><b>Disclaimer of Warranties:</b><br>
<b>a.</b> Volcano Judge is provided on an "as-is" basis, and the Volcano Programming Initiative makes no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, about the service's accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability.<br>
<b>b.</b> The Volcano Programming Initiative does not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

<br><li><b>Limitation of Liability:</b><br>
<b>a.</b> The Volcano Programming Initiative and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Volcano Judge.<br>
<b>b.</b> The Volcano Programming Initiative shall not be liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or any other financial losses.

<br><li><b>Modification of Terms:</b><br>
The Volcano Programming Initiative reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms on the Volcano Judge website. Your continued use of the service after any such changes will constitute your acceptance of the modified terms.</li>
<br><li><b>Termination of Service:</b><br>
The Volcano Programming Initiative may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate your access to Volcano Judge if it believes you have violated these Terms of Use or for any other reason without prior notice.</li>
<br><li><b>Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:</b><br>
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, the jurisdiction in which the Volcano Programming Initiative is based. Any disputes arising from the use of Volcano Judge shall be resolved through amicable negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction mentioned above.</li>
<br><li><b>Indemnification:</b><br>
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Volcano Programming Initiative, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of Volcano Judge or any violation of these Terms of Use.</li>
<br><li><b>Third-Party Links and Content:</b><br>
<b>a.</b> Volcano Judge may contain links to third-party websites or content. These links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement or responsibility by the Volcano Programming Initiative for the content of these third-party sites.<br>
<b>b.</b> You acknowledge and agree that the Volcano Programming Initiative shall not be responsible for any damages or losses arising from your interaction with third-party content or websites.</li>
<br><li><b>Privacy Policy:</b><br>
<b>a.</b> Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy (https://volcanojudge.pythonanywhere.com/privacy) to understand how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information.<br>
<b>b.</b> By using Volcano Judge, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.</li>
