How do I keep console.log

This may be a strange question as everybody is asking how to remove console.log() from production builds, but I have the opposite: I'd like to keep them but they are removed by default when I run vite build ?

I explicitly set drop_console: false, but that doesn't work:

Neeeevermind I copy/pasted some "silence console thing if process.env.NODE_ENV === 'development'" code at some point and didn't realize it was in there.

I am struggling with how to remove logs in production. Where did you put process.env.NODE_ENV === 'development'?
