Citus with Postgres-16

I appreciate your work on Autobase. I had a question regarding Citus.
I see Citus mentioned in the docs with "enable_citus" but there is an open issue for adding Citus support.
In one of the code files I saw Citus with Postgres-17 as a TODO. Is it already supported for Postgres-16?
If yes, where can we pass "enable_citus" variable?

Thank you for your kind words and your interest in Autobase!

Currently, only the installation of the Citus extension is supported, and further management of Citus shards is expected to be handled manually. You’re correct that there’s an active issue for adding full support for Citus clusters: #258. However, it currently has a lower priority as we haven’t received specific requests from sponsors for its implementation.

If you’re interested in this functionality, please consider exploring the Autobase support packages. Your support could help prioritize and accelerate the development of this feature.
