Black screen over VCell, moving to the right

VCell screen suddenly became black and started to move right. Video is attached, otherwise it is unbelievable and unexplainable.

Fascinating! How did you fix it? Did it go away when you clicked something in vcell? Did you have to restart vcell? Did you have to reboot your mac? Were you doing (or was vcell doing) something right at the time? Like, heavy rendering? If a modal dialog or tooltip was triggered and failed to render properly, it might cause part of the UI to blank out and shift. Were you connected to an external monitor, did you change resolutions? MacOS sometimes triggers layout shifts when changing resolutions, moving windows between displays, waking from sleep

Great point: it happened right after I disconnected it from the external display, being connected to it for the 3 hours before. Some time before (but not immediately) I showed Sherry-Ann Brown model of spine - it's pretty heavy rendering, but I never had issues with it.

I could not stop it: when it came to the right end of the VCell screen, it started from the left end. So I stopped VCell, and it started again normally - no Mac reboot.

Black moved left to right, took the whole screen black, and then started to remove black from the left to the right, and so on.
