Crashes (core dump) when trying to load large local library

I set up the local files to be my entire library and it crashes after a couple of seconds. If I change the directory to a smaller one (e.g. only one artist)) the player works properly. This is really disappointing after actually paying 10$. There are tons of free open source players and I've never had this sort of problem.

I saw this issue was opened a year ago, confirmed by many users and still no fix or update...

Indeed this issue has been a pain in the ass for some time.
There was some improvements with updates but the main issue is the rendering of the tracklist, which needs to be rewritten for huge tracklist.

In the meantime, if you find this a real blocker, feel free to ask for a refund.
