Chart data labels - formatting

I would like to know if there is a way to format chart data labels with thousands separators? I have currently this chart. As you can see there is a lot of numbers in a single column which is hard to work with because I can't quickly know if these are hundreds thousands and millions. Y Axis labels are useful but I would like to do the same on the chart data labels as well.
