Dataset size to fine tune the object detector

Would you please let me know the dataset size we expect for the object detection finetuning?

I am getting strange results after finetuning and i want to find out a fix.

Moondream does NOT publish a recommended dataset size for object-detection fine-tuning, which is likely why you’re seeing inconsistent behavior — there isn’t a well-documented “expected scale” yet.

The batch system hints at scale instead:

Up to 100,000 lines per batch

For datasets over 100k images, you should split jobs into multiple batche
