Parser unit tests

Add unit tests on parser.

I am commenting on this because it is tagged with documentation, and it may be an easy first task for someone to get involved :)

My question is: what would be the recommended way to get involved in the project? Any good-first-issues that can be a nice starting point. What other prerequisites may be there? Feel free to remove this if there is a better place to ask this type of questions.

I apologise for the late reply, I'm drowning in work at the moment.

I probably used the wrong label on this here I'm afraid. It's about writing unit tests for the parser and not documentation. You're of course welcome to do that if you want but one reason I've not done it myself is that it's not the most pleasant or exciting of tasks.

If you want to contribute to the documentation that's totally fine (it already received a few PRs/issues, it's more than welcome)

Hi @JohnCoene I am not nececeraly looking to do this particular task. I was not sure what is the best place to ask so I asked here.

But the question is really what is a good place to start, what would you consider to be a getting-started issue in the project, if any?
