What would be even cooler is if you could, on VR titles, select the openVR/OpenXR runtime that you want to run with, for instance, if you wanted to just use SteamVR, which is not optimal, you could simply just install SteamVR from a simple menu and not have to find the tool to install it, or you can use Manando, which is a free and open source, re-implementation of the OpenXR stack, but without the SteamVR part which causes performance issues and stability problems, in any case, being able to play SteamVR games on the quest line of headsets would give Valve some much needed competition in the field and give developers the tools they need to compete with Steam. Because let's be honest Valve needs competition. |

This would be the ultimate way to give everyone access to SteamVR games that own MetaQuest headsets, of course, while intended for Quest 3 and 3s, it would be nice if it worked with the goated Quest 2 as well, if for nothing else, then simpler steam VR games like Kill It With Fire or Beat Saber.
