Update Socket Communication Protocol to 1.0

Old implementations for TCP and UDP from version 0.2.3 in plugins/communication_protocols/socket need to be updated to 1.0 naming and conventions.

I'm interested in resolving this issue, i would love to update socket communication to be compatible with 1.0version.

That would be great! Most of the exisiting implementation should work, its more about naming convention and test updates
