[BUG] Freezing when swapping audio sources

Describe the bug

Sometimes, when changing audio source (e.g. playing a different YouTube video), the media flyout window appears, fully greyed out (no text), and it essentially freezes the rest of my computer (can't do anything, including alt tab and screenshot, can only move my mouse around) until it resolves something and the media flyout window updates and closes.

This happens intermittedly but seemingly usually after a long period of idle time with no audio playing.

Can't get a screenshot of the greyed out media flyout because I can't screenshot when it happens and it usually resolves itself before I can get my phone.

I have a few questions:

1. Do you have the taskbar visualizer enabled? If yes, have you noticed the visualizer freezing after and not recovering?
2. Have you used any version before v2.8.0? If yes, did you notice similar freezes before?

1. Yes, I do, and I have noticed that the visualiser does sometimes freeze. However, it doesn't irrecoverably freeze every time it happens (for example, right now, the visualiser still works even though I just got the freeze bug).
2. Yes, I have used since v2.4.1 and I have noticed similar freezes before.
