Purpose & Custom Nodes

Hiya, I'm building a Svelte5/Tauri desktop app and need a rich text editor. Lexical appears the most attractive for my needs, but I would like to understand what benefits lexical-svelte has over lexical. Is it compatibility, performance, or something else?

Additionally, does lexical-svelte allow the creation and use of custom nodes? I do see hashtag in the plugin list by my use case requires full custom configuration.

Apart from the core, most of the functionality in ‘lexical’ is implemented in react, for instance, images support, table support, all the UI buttons and dialogs etc. The main reason for the existence of ‘svelte-lexical’ is it implements all that functionality in svelte.

And yes, ‘svelte-lexical’ does support custom nodes.
