issue with sudoedit /etc/sddm.conf

when im typing this in the terminal it shows me only ~ and i cant do anything but close the terminal. i tried deleting it and creating it again but it doesnt work.

That's your editor. Run echo $EDITOR; that will print the editor being used by sudoedit. Then, do a little search on how to use it, or change to a different one with EDITOR=your_editor_of_choice sudoedit /etc/sddm.conf.
