It would be nice to add the versions of the current Conda (=Python) dependencies to CondaPkg.toml.

Do you have an example of a package that uses such a CondaPkg.toml?

And just how does that toml "play" with Julia? Does Julia take care of installing the correct Python environment? Or is it a pure python replacement of the (to me) more conventional environment.yaml?

see https://github.com/JuliaPy/CondaPkg.jl It indeed installs the correct Python version locally.
