preliminary research results:

• no support for UDP https://emscripten.org/docs/porting/networking.html
• opengl limited to the webgl 2 equivalent
• severely limited filesystem
• no processes

opengl replaced with webgpu/dawn.
however, porting to emscriptem would require additional work.
