swipe gestures to navigate back or forward

Sorry I can't remember the exact Cromite version number, but about a year ago Cromite and Chrome had similar gesture navigation :
Swipe right to go back, swipe left to go forward
But now Cromite (133.0.6943.127), swiping right or left will make the browser go back, if I want to go forward, I need to swipe left from the right edge of the screen more than half a screen away.
This is very helpful for one-handed operation of the phone, but it also makes my fingers tired.
Is there a way to make Cromite fall back to the old version of the gesture?
