When scrolling a lot of pages my hand gets tired. Using the touch interface and moving my finger from top to bottom over and over again is not fun.
The idea is to go into "scrolling mode" after the user completes a page of scrolling and keeps his finger stationary. The pane should keep scrolling at the speed the user moved his finger along the screen. Once the finger is raised, scrolling stops. Scroll speed is controlled by moving the finger a few pixels up or down, adding a throttle like interface.
