Please file bug reports as Issues rather than Discussions

I've noticed a growing trend of bug reports and technical issues being posted in Discussions instead of the Issues section. While I really appreciate everyone taking the time to report problems, using Issues rather than Discussions helps us track and resolve problems more effectively.

Here's why Issues are better for bug reports:

1. Our issue templates guide you through providing essential information like:

   • Version numbers
   • Error messages and crash logs
   • Steps to reproduce
   • System configuration

   Without this detailed information, it's often impossible for us to help with the problems you're facing.

2. Issues let us use labels, assignments, and milestones to properly track and prioritize fixes

3. Issues integrate better with project management workflow, making it easier to link commits and pull requests to the original problem

If you've posted a bug report in Discussions, no worries! Please just create a new Issue using the bug report template and feel free to close the Discussion thread with a link to the new Issue.

Discussions are great for:

• Feature requests and brainstorming
• Questions about how to use the project
• General community chat
• Sharing success stories
