What feature do you want?

I've used Ecoflow PowerStream for a while and adjusted its Household Power Demand value to match a power meter sensor continuously, using your Home Assistant Ecoflow integration and another Home Assistant integration for the power meter. It works very well.

Now I invested in Stream Ultra X to get more battery storage, but I sadly learned quickly that I cannot set the Base Load Power value via this integration for Stream Ultra. I would appreciate if this was made possible, if Ecoflow's API supports it. I don't know how to develop this.

I'm aware that Ecoflow offer integration with their own Smart Meter and Shelly Pro 3EM, or go nuts with their SmartPlugs (..), but this will require further investment in hardware and installer, and I much prefer to use the flexibility of Home Assistant to optimize energy usage and storage compared with Ecoflow's isolated software.

Feature request (Stream Ultra X)

• Please add read + write support for these parameters:
• Backup reserve (percent) – get/set
• Battery charge power (W) – get current & set limit/target
• Battery discharge power (W) – get current & set limit/target

Why

We run PV-only charging at daytime and scheduled night discharge. For robust automations we need reserve control and charge/discharge caps directly from HA.

Proposed HA service API (example)

If your API prefers a single “power_limit” with signed value or separate charge/discharge endpoints, we’ll adapt. Please expose min/max and step from the device if possible.

Acceptance criteria

• Entities update live and survive HA restarts.
• Services return clear success/failure with reason (range, permission, state).
• Rate-limit/polling consistent with device/API guidance.
