Compatibility of version 0.0.8 with @react-native-community/art #70

I was wondering if this library is currently usable. According to the documentation, versions below 1.x.x should work with Expo; however, since @react-native-community/art is deprecated, I’m unsure how to get it running.
If anyone has experience with this, could you confirm whether version 0.0.8 of this package is compatible with a specific version of @react-native-community/art? Any guidance would be appreciated!
