doesn't show in small size

I want this in a small panel to replace the default panel clock that won't stop showing AM/PM. I have it on the left side of my screen, and the AM/PM takes up too much space. But fancy-clock just shows an icon and only shows the time when I click on it.

Plasma requires an additional view if you want a plasmoid to display in the panel, which I haven't done. Unfortunately I don't have time to work on it anymore but I welcome pull requests to allow new features like that.
