this is actually an idea by @olios mentioned in the chat. Just moving it here for better visibility

you can just not hand them out like stickers (so we should do #3 still) as they are quite expensive
but for all team members or as a perk for contributions (e.g. running a node or submitting PRs) we could create some (5,12,23,42)
