hmm... not sure about it, I do not see it in the main contentlayer repo as well but it seems like it was a third party PR that was subsequently not merged in. Currently, I do not have the scope or bandwidth to support other content sources besides md / mdx but if someone is super keen on making the integration work, let me know and I would be happy to add you as a project maintainer.
