I found your app via hackernews but it seems like there wasn't any updates or progress in the last few years - is this app abandoned?

I wouldn't necessarily say abandoned. I still work on it from time to time, but progress is very very slow and I cannot prioritise it over other things atm

I just come across OutRun today after looking for something similar for a long time. Initial impressions are great and I hope you'll find some time to continue development :)

Looking at issues and PRs here you might be able to get a bit of assistance if you’re up for that :)

@philiprenich Thank you very much for the offer. I am actually putting a lot of time into OutRun atm. If all goes according to plan, there will be a big update before the end of the year. As I am basically rewriting most of the app, I think it best to work alone for now. I will make that clear on the README.

Appreciate the answer and the time you spend working on it. I still enjoy the app as it is, but also very excited about the update!
