Hi,

I was following the tessel setup documentation. (Tried the following steps in both Mac and Windows )

  1. Connected tessel to computer
  2. t2 list shows USB
  3. Both computer and tessel is connected to same wireless network.
  4. t2 provision
  5. t2 list still shows only USB

I tried the steps given for Mac but no use.

Both Mac and Windows, LAN is not showing up.

Please help

In Windows, I noticed one thing that, after connecting to wifi, and then when I do t2 list, wifi gets disconnected.

@jintoppy Is this a home network? Can you check your router's settings to confirm that it allows for device discovery over LAN?

I am using my mobile hotspot. ( since tessel was not able to connect to my home network). How to check if it allows for device discovery? I am using Nexus 5X, Android 7.1.2

I'm not sure. I would try to connect to another wifi network and see if discovery works.

I'm not sure Android supports Multicast DNS ("mdns") discovery, but your home network should support it—it likely just needs to be enabled via network admin interface.
