Contributing to Alvyo

Thank you for helping. Bug reports and ideas are welcome as issues (security issues: SECURITY.md).

Pull requests

  • Contributor License Agreement: before the first pull request is merged, agree to CLA.md by writing the sentence at its end in the pull request. It lets the app go into the App Store; your work stays AGPL-3.0.
  • New data sources, APIs and dependencies: check their terms first (docs/licensing.md): what they allow, whether attribution is needed and where, and whether their license fits the AGPL-3.0. Name them in the pull request, and add them to NOTICE and docs/licensing.md.
  • Setup, tests and checks: docs/development.md and the commands in CLAUDE.md. Every text users see exists in German, English, French and Italian.
