Error: certificate signed by unknown authority

I encounter a certificate error message each time while executing (Mac OS) the teler utility against the log and config file that I am passing as the input arguments. I even tried even downloading the raw JSON file (common-web-attacks.json) in my PWD, but no luck yet.

Any idea where things might be going wrong and how I can make it work?
