Hello, love the simplicity of Leafpad and would only like to suggest to allow hiding menubar by default and then toggle it with CTRL + M. That would allow me to only see the text, would be really awesome.

You can find a great subject in gtk-libwinmenu.
budRich is an incredible guy with a great sense of humor, there are tons of cool stuff on his Yuotube channel.
