This license activates only upon Permanent Discontinuation as defined in the main LICENSE file.
Temporary Discontinuation does not activate this license.
During Permanent Discontinuation, you may:
- Use the Software
- Modify the Software
- Distribute modified or unmodified versions
- Publicly host community-maintained instances
All forks and hosted versions must:
- Credit "Cardian by Korvex"
- Include:
"Originally created as Cardian, the predecessor platform developed by Korvex."
Attribution must be visible and not obscured.
You may not:
- Sell the Software
- Charge for hosting access
- Monetize instances
- Offer premium tiers
- License for commercial gain
Commercial Use remains permanently prohibited unless authorized in writing.
No rights to Cardian branding, logos, or domains are granted.
No implied endorsement allowed.
Korvex may designate a Steward during discontinuation.
Stewardship does not transfer ownership.
If Korvex resumes development after Permanent Discontinuation:
- This license terminates 180 days after public revival notice.
- Forks may operate during the wind-down period.
- After 180 days, operation must comply with the reinstated main license.
All intellectual property remains owned by Korvex.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS".
KORVEX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE.
