I use Org mode for notes and task management and I have found a workflow that I think is really compelling with Spacemacs evil bindings.
This might work ok on the Android terminal too I haven't tried it, but on Termux it is easy to install Spacemacs. For many keyboards touchscreen isn't great, but I have found this obscure but very cool touchscreen keyboard called 8vim actually VERY well suited to Spacemacs Evil style keybindings.

Note, this keyboard is named after Vim in spirit, it isn't like Vim rather you use loops around a circle to indicate letters in a continuous but precise fashion. They keyboard is odd but it actually makes a lot of sense and it makes movement through and light editing of org files not bad at all. I highly recommend trying it if you love Spacemacs evil as it puts it in an entirely radically different light that is nonetheless really compelling.
Here is an old video that explains one of the main inspirations for 8vim.

You don't need to change any defaults except I would keep the 8vim keyboard floating so you can move it around to wherever makes the most sense while you are in a org file. Also a stylus is very well suited to 8vim input. Termux displays all the keys that aren't easily accessible in 8vim which ends up being very convenient.
I am not too happy with the direction Android is going honestly, but there is no doubt something very compelling about this combination for touchscreen use with spacemacs-evil that I think is worth exploring!!!!!

note for file sync you can install syncthing inside termux too so it is very easy to sync between a mobile device and a computer.
