Describe the question

How to stay in the current dir on quit?
For example, the initial dir is /etc, after navigating to /etc/fish and pressing q to exit, I want the shell to stay in /etc/fish instead of /etc.

Anything else?

I've searched for keyword "stay" and found no related issues/discussions.
