It's normal at this scale, ind-sort is called separately for each pane which was to prepare for supporting per-pane sorting in the future, and when that lands there'll be a new property that says which pane the sort action is applied to (not present yet).

So ind-sort, or better yet, the sort action, is actually called about total_calls/3 (parent, current, preview if applicable) per tab, with some skipped ones if they don't need to re-sort.

Do you mean this happens:

• in yazi with its default settings?
• only when folder-rules are enabled, regardless of the folder?
• only when you use one of the folders defined in the folder-rules?
