Dear Scissor package authors,

I hope this email finds you well. I am currently using your Scissor package for my research and have encountered a challenge with memory allocation when processing large Seurat objects.

I am considering splitting my Seurat object into smaller parts, running Scissor on each part separately, and then combining the results. My question is:

Would the results obtained from this approach be consistent with running Scissor on the entire Seurat object at once?

Specifically, I'm interested in knowing:

  1. Are there any potential issues or biases that might arise from this split-and-combine approach?
  2. If this approach is viable, do you have any recommendations for how to best implement it?
  3. Are there any particular considerations we should keep in mind when interpreting the results from this method?

Your insights would be greatly appreciated and would significantly help in our analysis of large-scale single-cell data.

Thank you for your time and for developing this valuable tool.
