In an attempt to learn to use Obsidian Bases for further built-in organizing and visualization I realized I could apply tags while in a Base. The tags can be added very quickly and more seamlessly, in comparison to adding the property filed to a document and the related tags. The issue is that whenever a file is then viewed tags added that way disappear.
I have also tried doing the same steps with Google Drive Sync disabled and the issue did not persist, as well as using a minimal amount of other plugins simultaneously. I am under the impression that this occurs because the file is attempted to be synced, and/or update when the file is open, rather than if a change is applied to it externally.
Is there a way to force the upload of a desired file without opening it, or otherwise have the file attempt to upload automatically when edited through other means externally, but still within the program?
