CPU Use 50%+ #755

Hello! I've had Activity Monitor running a bit today. I've seen Thaw getting stuck in around 50% after selecting an item in the dropdown bar in MacOS Sequoia on an M2 Pro Mac Mini. As an example, I selected Crashplan from inside the bar. Left for an hour or so, came back to find Thaw still hovering at 50%. If I click around in Thaw, it often quickly drops back down. I'm new to Thaw, so I'm hesitant to report it as a bug. |

There is no reason for Thaw to consume that much CPU, please report it. |
