thanks to have submitted this request. Unfortunately, I don't have band to work on this task now. Any contribution from the community is welcome. I keep it in the features that would be nice to have in the library.

@cparata When I've worked it out, I'll try and submit a PR. I'm also trying to use External types which seems to be partially implemented.
