There have been a lot of names for this window. I guess you are talking about the default Alt+Tab window from windows:

Anyway if you need to know the information for a specific window you can use the Winow Spy utility of the Auto Hot Keys program. It has a Follow Mouse option to be able to identify popups like the Alt+Tab window.
