sending email from mattermost

More of question . I have an account setup on stalwart email server and have that info in mattermost instance. If i send a test email from mattermost instance to the same domain the email is on it works. If i use it on any other server it says its delivered but its not. Any guidance or direction is most appreciated.

i found this in the log. The domain i'm sending too test is proton. If i use the email server domain it has that instead of proton.

Please can you include more information from your logs. I'd like to see a successful delivery and also the case when the message is not delivered.

Proton mail doesn't receive it from mattermost

In regards too successful delivery do you mean stalwart email to protonmail or mattermost instance to stalwart email?

According to that log file, Protonmail is accepting your message. It is replying with a 2xx status code which means successful delivery.

Have you checked the spam folder in your Protonmail account?

Nope thats the weird thing. If i use mattermost email account on an email client and email proton email address it works no issue. Seems to be with mattermost instance to protonmail also same issue with simplelogin. Doesn't go through. Also i have spf set to quarantine so should go to spam if its not the right ip address.
