I have the same issue related here

I try to update from Spring-Boot 2.1.9 to 2.2.4 and with hateoas cannot run the code due to this error:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Failed to introspect Class [org.springframework.data.web.config.HateoasAwareSpringDataWebConfiguration] from ClassLoader

I'm trying to glean the components of this project.

When I see CNFE for org.springframework.hateoas.server.mvc.UriComponentsContributor, it implies this is a Spring WebFlux application.

But I also see JAXB-based errors. Where is that coming from?

If you could share your build file, we might unearth some key information.

I solved the problem upgrading everything to the latest Spring version and works fine.
The problem should be between Hateoas version and Spring version greater than 2.1.9 but I can't confirm that
