As Plone Release Manager I am working on the core of Plone. There are a lot of improvements I could make. See for example the project board for Plone 6.2.

I am also a member of the Plone/Zope Security Team, but find myself unable to make much time available for that. This really could use more attention.

Lately I find myself doing lots a Python-packaging related develoment. In February/March 2025 I did a lot of work on Buildout, zest.releaser, and on parts of Plone that use entry points (e.g. plone.autoinclude), after a recent setuptools release that changed an important detail of how distributions are named. Upcoming are changes to move all Plone packages to native namespaces.

Having some sponsors makes it more rewarding and affordable to put time into Plone, next to client work and having a family and a new house to make into a home.
