Become a sponsor to David Ortner
Hello! 👋
My name is David, and I'm the creator and lead maintainer of Happy DOM.
Happy DOM has grown incredibly fast, becoming a core testing tool for thousands of developers worldwide. With the massive rise of AI-assisted coding, the volume of pull requests and contributions has skyrocketed.
As the main maintainer, my role has shifted into being a critical quality gatekeeper. I dedicate my energy to ensuring that Happy DOM remains exceptionally fast, adheres strictly to web standards, stays free of security vulnerabilities, and remains easy to maintain for years to come. While reviewing code is vital, my true passion lies in building new features and actively driving the project forward myself.
Managing this influx of contributions while maintaining a high standard of quality has effectively become a full-time job—one that I currently balance in my free time alongside my regular employment.
Why sponsor me?
Your financial support directly helps free up time from my day job so I can dedicate focused, high-quality hours to Happy DOM. Together, we can ensure the project scales sustainably, stays secure, and continues to provide the developer community with the ultra-fast web browser implementation it relies on.
Thank you for supporting open source! ❤️
