My name is Ben, I am from the Netherlands / European Union and I am a Software Engineer by profession and a polymath by heart.

I am working on open source projects that can be used for general purposes and solve problems that may otherwise be repetitive or redundant. At the same time, it is a learning experience to develop open source projects in overlapping fields of interest, such as mathematics, artificial intelligence, graphics, language, etc.

Sponsorship will help me cover the time I spend in my free time besides my day job. Although I am happy working in my job and considering that I need to pay the bills, sponsorship would help me spend some more time on open source without expecting a salary to cover the expenses and the income I would otherwise have made in a for-profit setting.
