Hello! I'm Jeryn Aldaron Lau, from Minnesota. I love working on open source projects in Rust, with a focus on quality and clean code in primarily WebAssembly, I/O, and multimedia. Writing portable code has a financial cost, as developing against the latest operating systems (which often don't support older hardware) would allow me to catch issues before the users. I recently upgraded my main development machine so I can finally test code I write on Windows 11 and Linux with working bluetooth, but am stuck on an older version of MacOS for now. I hope to eventually work on open-source nearly full-time, as currently I do all the work for my projects entirely in my free time - however I know this will likely need to wait until retirement. For now, any funding will help sustain my hobby of writing and maintaining useful code used by many businesses and hobbyists.
