Use gitmoji for every git commit.

AI testing responsibilities

  • The AI is responsible for all tests.
  • Add, remove, or modify tests as needed when making code changes.
  • Always run the full test suite after updates.

Crate source lookup

If you need to inspect a crate that isn't in the repo, add it to Cargo.toml and run cargo build. Cargo downloads the crate sources to ~/.cargo/registry/src, where you can browse them.

A gitmoji commit message consists is composed using the following pieces:

intention: The intention you want to express with the commit, using an emoji from the list. Either in the :shortcode: or unicode format.
scope: An optional string that adds contextual information for the scope of the change.
message: A brief explanation of the change.

Assistant V2 Migration

  • New work on assistant_v2 should record feature migration status in assistant_v2/FEATURE_PROGRESS.md.
  • When a feature is fully transferred and tested, update that file and mention the change in commit messages.
