Ampersand (&) glitches out textbox

Hello! This is my first time writing one of these, so I'm sorry if I don't include enough information.

At work we use a booking system, which uses Quill for their text editors. Recently we have a found a recurring bug that happens when ampersands (&) are used inside these text editors.

If one or more ampersands are used, the cursor jumps to the very start of the textbox after every character pressed (a, x, Enter, Backspace, !, etc.). The only way to bypass this bug is to paste in text from another source.

We have only evidence of this happening due to ampersands so far, as changing all the ampersands fixed the issue.

But, I did not found there have error you said.
can you say how to reproduce the problem?

is that your system's problem?
